Your Privacy Matters

PhotoPly is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding how your information is collected, stored and used. This Privacy Policy applies whenever you use PhotoPly and explains how your information is handled.

Information We Collect

We only collect the information you choose to provide. This includes your email address when creating an account and the photos that you intentionally upload to your Plies. We do not secretly access your device gallery, harvest background data, or collect information unrelated to the functionality of PhotoPly.

How We Use Your Data

Your information is used solely for providing PhotoPly services to you. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information or images with advertisers or marketing companies.

Public and Shared Content

All newly created Plies are private by default. If you choose to make a Ply public, it may become visible within community and discovery features. If you mark a Ply as shared, only users specifically invited by you will be able to access it. You may revoke sharing permissions or return content to private status at any time.

Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your account and uploaded content. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and password.

Account Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your account. Once deleted, your account information, Plies, images, sharing permissions and associated records are removed from active systems. This action cannot be reversed.

Reminders & Notifications

Reminder schedules and notification settings are managed locally on your device. We do not send your reminder schedules or notification preferences to external third-party services.

Local Storage & Offline Usage

To improve performance and support offline access, PhotoPly may store encrypted timeline information and metadata locally on your device. Image processing and comparisons are performed locally whenever possible to maximize user privacy.
